Ivanka Trump and her father Donald Trump Jr. have been engaged for nearly five years.

While the two are close friends, Ivanka Trump has not been shy in voicing her views on the issue of same-sex marriage.

During a press conference in August, Ivanka was asked if she supported same-gender marriage and she responded, “I do not.”

According to a new report from BuzzFeed News, Ivanka has a long history of anti-gay bigotry.

According to the report, Ivanka’s father, Donald Trump, was a vocal supporter of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) that bans federal recognition of same sex marriages and same-gendered benefits in the United States.

During the 2016 election, Ivanka said she would “vote for a president who would fight for a nation that protects our LGBTQ community.”

The law, which allowed states to discriminate against LGBT people, is one of the most controversial and controversial laws in U.S. history.
