A woman was arrested after she allegedly assaulted her roommate, police said.
Alexa Pearl, 25, was arrested Friday afternoon after police responded to a domestic disturbance call at her apartment in the 2200 block of N. Washington St. Pearl allegedly assaulted a roommate in an upstairs bedroom and left the apartment, police sources said.
The victim told police Pearl, who was on probation, tried to get into her roommate’s bedroom but could not.
When she tried to leave again, Pearl knocked her into the floor and dragged her around the bedroom, according to police.
Pearl told police she kicked the victim, who fell on the floor, and punched her in the head, according a police report.
The incident was reported to police at 11:48 p.m.
Thursday, police and Pearl’s mother told the San Francisco Chronicle.
The victim suffered a concussion and was released from the hospital.
Pearls family did not immediately return messages seeking comment.
