It was the scene of a deadly brawl in the 1960s and has since been home to a variety of restaurants.
The Pearl’s menu is full of nostalgic comfort food and classic comfort foods, but its new owner is trying to revive the restaurant with fresh local ingredients.ABC News has chosen to highlight the restaurant as a “place of refuge” and an example of “the future” of the Pearl River Valley.
